In April 2018, artist Katie Sfetkidis ran for Lord Mayor of Melbourne in the Mayoral By-election. Taking an intersectional approach, Sfetkidis’ campaign placed gender, art and cultural diversity at the forefront of the electoral conversation. Throughout the campaign, Sfetkidis participated in conventional forms of campaigning and a number of artistic interventions, most notably a one day walking tour of the electorate, in which she personally carried a life-size campaign poster to each suburb of the electorate.  This series of works, brings together material generated throughout the campaign and reflects on Sfetkidis' experience within the Australian electoral process.
