 WOMEN'S COVID-19 TIME CAPSULE
QUEEN VICTORIA WOMEN'S CENTRE: 16 FEBRUARY - 12 MARCH 2022
The Women’s COVID-19 archive is a project by artist Katie Sfetkidis, Feminist Emissary of the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre. The archive is a collection of stories and conversations by womxn and gender diverse people about experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia. The archive recognises the unique experiences of women and gender diverse people during this time of crisis and the contributions that they have made to the pandemic community as carers and essential workers. The archive aims to recognise and highlight the ways that entrenched structural disadvantages faced by women and gender diverse people have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
